Aussigami Origami Animal Calendar

Print, Craft & Product Design

Aussigami is an educational calendar that brings together Australia’s native animals and the Asian art of origami.

Each month is two-sided. The front carries the calendar and a different Australian animal. The back has step-by-step folding instructions for that animal, with colored paper provided.

Calendar pages are usually thrown away once the month has passed. Aussigami gives each one a second life: at the end of every month, the calendar becomes an invitation to make. Over a year, it transforms into a collection of twelve handmade Australian animals.
