Today At Apple: Co-Create Iconic Design with Yiying Lu @ Apple Union Square

In celebration of the Global Big Draw Creative Festival in 2019, I partnered with Apple​ San Francisco and Adobe​ to give the public audience a 90-minute Interactive Co-Create Design Lab. I shared my creative journey on using art and design to create community, solve problems, and tell cultural stories.

After my talk, the audience participated in a 45-minute creative workshop, using the iPad and Apple Pencil (no prior experience required) to customize one of my bridge designs with colorful brushes from the Adobe Fresco drawing app. My life purpose is to build bridges between Art & Tech, Business & Culture, Work & Life, and East & West.

I’ve been (literally) building Bridge-themed artworks – I call this Bridges Around the World, including the London Tower Bridge, the Sydney Harbour Bridge, the Singapore Helix Bridge, the San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge, and the Austin 360 (Pennybacker) Bridge:

After my talk, I provided the audience with a black-and-white coloring template. They will have a 45-minute creative workshop to customize the template using colorful brushes from the Adobe Fresco app.
